U14
For Tamás Kovács’s team, this match was an opportunity to take revenge for their earlier defeat, and their motivation was evident from the first minute. The boys played with discipline and awareness, reacting well to transitions and creating danger through fast, organized counterattacks. Both goals came from quick breaks on the wings, followed by precise passes across goal that were calmly finished by András Benkes and Milán Törő.
– We played against the team that had beaten us in the first round, so it gave us extra motivation to prove how much we’ve improved. The boys played with great discipline and focus throughout the match, and our performance reflected the progress we’ve made. We reacted well to long balls and transitions, built up play efficiently, and constantly found ways to break through their defensive lines. Both of our goals came from quick counterattacks down the wings, followed by precise cut-backs finished calmly by our attackers – explained the coach.
– This is particularly important because our weekly training cycle focused on these patterns, and I’m glad the players managed to apply them effectively in a real match against such a strong opponent. It’s also worth mentioning that the referees tried in every possible way to favor the home side, but our defense blocked every shot, and our goalkeeper even saved a penalty – emphasized Kovács Tamás.
– I can see clear individual progress in every player, which translates into a stronger and more united team performance. I’m proud of the boys for their attitude and discipline; they stayed respectful and focused even under pressure. Challenges like this can appear anytime in a footballer’s career, but they can be overcome through hard work, determination, and team spirit. That’s the standard I expect from them going forward – concluded the head coach.

Hunor Tankó’s U13 side played an entertaining, goal-filled match, securing a 6–4 victory away in Vaslui. The team dominated possession, created numerous chances, and displayed determination and energy throughout the game. Although the final scoreline was tighter than expected, the overall performance and attitude were excellent.
– It was a valuable match where, although we created more chances, our finishing wasn’t always sharp. The opponents relied on counterattacks, but we controlled possession and, through intensity and discipline, managed to dictate the tempo of the game – began the coach.
– I’m fully satisfied with the boys’ attitude. It was a high-tempo, physical match, and everyone contributed to the win. The victory was well-deserved, and the team once again proved that it’s moving in the right direction – concluded Tankó Hunor.
