U14
Tamás Kovács’s team started the match in a good rhythm, had more possession, and created several promising attacking situations. However, the hosts capitalized on errors in our own half and took a two-goal lead before halftime.
After the break, we managed to pull one back, but another mistake allowed Vaslui to score again, putting us in a difficult position. Despite our efforts to come back, we were unable to convert our chances, and the match ended in a 3–1 defeat.
Tamás Kovács’s assessment
– As we had already faced LPS Vaslui twice this season, we had the opportunity to prepare tactically for what to expect and how we could gain the upper hand – said the head coach.
– Despite dominating the game, we made three unforced technical errors in our own half, which could have been avoided with more focus. The third one, in particular, proved decisive – he added.
– Despite these individual mistakes, the boys followed our pre-match plan and fought until the very end in heavy rain. I cannot ask for more in terms of effort. A small positive is that after the match, the Romanian Football Federation’s observer praised our play and dominance, which is valuable feedback from a neutral professional – emphasized Tamás Kovács.

Hunor Tankó’s team played a balanced and high-tempo match in Vaslui. Despite falling behind twice, we managed to equalize on both occasions and eventually secured a deserved draw.
Our players showed courage, remained competitive throughout the match, and scored a late goal to earn a point.

– Even though we were behind twice, we were never inferior. It was a balanced match, and in my opinion, the result is fair – said the coach.
– We also had chances to win, just like the Vaslui team. Overall, I am very satisfied with the team’s performance; the boys played with good tempo, the right mentality, and courage – he added.
