No goals were scored in the away match against Hermannstadt, meaning both teams earned a point each—though in reality, it helps neither side much in the fight to avoid relegation.

At the foot of the still snow-covered Făgăraș Mountains, in a modern stadium located next to a विशाल park, more spectators attended than at the autumn fixture, which FK had won 2–0. Among them were around twenty traveling supporters from Ciuc, whose voices could be heard clearly in the well-acousticed arena. Ilyés Róbert’s team traveled without the injured Jebari, ruled out for the rest of the season, and Kleinheisler. After a forgettable first half, FK improved after the break and could have decided the match, but lacked sharpness in attack.

In the first half, Hermannstadt looked more dangerous: although FK also created chances—Anderson’s low cross narrowly missed Eppel (4), and Csürös’ long-range effort was saved by Lazar (7)—the hosts had the edge. Neguț and Balaure tried from distance, but Pap was alert, while the biggest chance came in the 16th minute when Albu fired over from close range after a neat combination.

Both sides had opportunities towards the end of the half: Anderson’s run was blocked, Eppel headed over, while at the other end Pap safely held Neguț’s shot. After the break, FK gradually took control and pushed the hosts back.

Midway through the second half, FK created several big chances: Eppel Márton found himself one-on-one after a pass from Veres Szilárd, but Lazar produced a fine save (71). Shortly after, FK gained a numerical advantage when Bârstan left the pitch injured and the hosts had no substitutions left.

However, the advantage did not translate into a goal. Pászka Lóránd delivered several dangerous crosses, while Szalay Szabolcs and Trif Răzvan both came close—Lazar notably denied Trif’s header with an excellent save (84). In stoppage time, Nagy Zoárd headed over from a promising position, leaving the match goalless.

After the match, head coach Ilyés Róbert expressed slight disappointment but admitted that based on the first half, even a draw was not guaranteed:
“During that period Hermannstadt looked much better—more dynamic and aggressive. Still, it was frustrating not to win in the end, but we had to settle for a point. We shared the points, but unfortunately this result doesn’t really help either team in the battle to avoid relegation.”

In the next round (Round 7), on May 1 at 20:30, FK Csíkszereda will host the reigning champions, FCSB.
