Corbu Marius continued his excellent start to the season, earning a place in Ferencváros’s starting line-up in both the Europa League and the Hungarian championship over the past week.
The Hungarian record champions defeated Trabzonspor 4–0 in Budapest on 27 August in the second leg of their Europa League play-off, advancing to the league phase with a 5–0 aggregate victory. In the 55th minute, the midfielder developed at FK Csíkszereda beat two opponents to create space for himself before scoring his team’s second goal. Corbu remained on the pitch until the 83rd minute.
Three days later, Ferencváros visited Puskás Akadémia in the NB I and left Felcsút with a 2–1 victory. Corbu was once again named in the starting line-up and played the entire match. He has now made twelve competitive appearances in the 2026–2027 season – starting every one of them – and has recorded 1,016 minutes and three goals. Due to their postponed fixtures, Ferencváros have played only four league matches so far, collecting seven points and sitting seventh in the NB I table.
Brügger Dániel and Bencze Lóránd both featured in two matches for Puskás Akadémia’s reserve team. The Felcsút side first defeated FC Sopron 3–1 before winning 5–0 away at Pápa. Brügger started both matches, playing 86 minutes against Sopron and 79 minutes in Pápa. He was not included in the first team’s squad for the following day’s NB I fixture against Ferencváros. He has made five starts and played 384 minutes for Puskás Akadémia II this season.
Bencze came on in the 74th minute against FC Sopron and was introduced in the 68th minute in Pápa. He collected a total of 38 minutes across the two victories. After six rounds, Puskás Akadémia II sit sixth in the North-Western Group of the NB III with nine points.
Tamás Nándor was once again named in the starting line-up for Slovak top-flight side KFC Komárno. His team drew 2–2 away to Dukla Banská Bystrica, with Tamás playing the first half. He has accumulated 196 minutes in four competitive appearances this season. Komárno remain winless after six rounds and sit eleventh in the Niké Liga with three points from three draws and three defeats.
In the Hungarian NB II, Vajda Roland Ottó played another full match for HR-Rent Kozármisleny. The Baranya County side suffered a 3–0 defeat away to Kecskeméti TE, with Vajda starting and completing the full 90 minutes. His season tally stands at five starts and 434 minutes, along with one yellow card and one red card. After six rounds, Kozármisleny remain without a point and occupy sixteenth place in the table.
Gyenge Szilárd watched Sepsi OSK’s entire match from the bench on this occasion. The Covasna County side, with David Lazar in goal, won 1–0 away to FC Argeș. The Sfântu Gheorghe outfit sit ninth in the Romanian Superliga with ten points from seven matches.
Omar El Sawy’s team, Rapid Bucharest, had not played during the period under review by the time this edition of Outlook was completed. The capital side host Universitatea Craiova on Monday, 31 August, at 20:30. El Sawy has been included in Rapid’s squad for each of the opening six rounds, making five appearances and playing 74 minutes.
Dusinszki Szabolcs was not included in Puskás Akadémia’s squad for any of their matches. His name did not appear on the team sheet for the reserve side’s fixtures against Sopron and Pápa or for the first team’s encounter with Ferencváros.
