In the first half, Emőke Berkeczi’s players created plenty of chances but couldn’t find the net, so the teams went into halftime at 0–0. After the break, our girls quickly broke the deadlock: Beáta Részeg opened the scoring in the 48th minute, and seven minutes later Andreea Sandu doubled the lead, sealing a well-deserved 2–0 victory for Csíkszereda.
Head coach Emőke Berkeczi shared her thoughts after the match:
“In the first half we had many chances. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take them, but we started the second half with a goal. The girls were very skillful, created a lot of opportunities, and hit the post twice. In the end, it’s great that we managed to close the year with a win, and we hope to start the spring the same way.”
