Just like the one-year older age group, our U15 team also sent home the bottom-ranked side from Piatra Neamț with a round 10–0 victory in the 7th round of the Elite League.
The scoring began in the 7th minute with a fine free-kick goal from Miklós Attila. At half-time, Fogarasi Zoltán’s side was leading by “only” four goals, but by the final whistle – just like in the U16 clash – the margin had grown to a clean ten goals. Ceahlăul arrived at this age category as well as the last-placed team, with no goals scored in the league and 49 conceded in six rounds. An unusual aspect for the visitors was that, except for the last ten minutes, they fielded the same goalkeeper as in the U16 match, with Grădinaru thus defending the yellow team’s net for one and two-thirds of a match.
For FK, the next challenge comes in Iași next weekend, in the 8th round, where leaders Politehnica will be the opponent on Saturday.
