Showing attractive and effective football, our youth team defeated the FCSB Academy side by three goals in the weekend match. Head coach Goran Kopunovic shares his thoughts:

I have been waiting for a long time for us to be able to play in this style, with this tempo and intensity. In this match we were very motivated and creative. The greatest joy for me is that we scored four goals, all from open play, and created many chances as well. This is what beautiful football looks like – that’s why this game is so wonderful. I was also very happy that my players truly enjoyed the match and could show their creativity while everyone fulfilled the task assigned to them. The boys deserved this victory; they worked very hard for it. We always work hard, but sometimes it shows on the pitch and sometimes it doesn’t – this time it did, and that’s exactly what I had been waiting for. Congratulations to the boys. We move forward, keep working and prepare for the next matches, because every point counts and we want to finish the championship as high as possible in the standings.
