From the opening moments of Saturday’s match in Țăndărei, the difference between the two teams was clear: our girls controlled possession and created chance after chance. The breakthrough came early, in the 10th minute, when Benő Emőke opened the scoring. She remained the key figure of the first half, adding two more goals in quick succession (28’, 30’) to complete her hat-trick within the first 30 minutes. Shortly after, an own goal (31’) made it 0–4 before halftime.

In the second half, Péter Nóra Kinga scored twice – first from open play, then from the penalty spot (43’, 50’) – while captain Orbán Anna also netted a brace (65’, 73’). Another own goal in the 80th minute sealed the 0–9 final score.

Head coach Portik Helga’s reaction:
“From the very beginning we controlled the game. In the opening minutes we already had several chances, and in the 10th minute we managed to convert one. After that, the girls became more confident, passed more accurately, moved better, and created many chances, most of which we converted. At halftime we discussed how to become even more effective. In the second half we created even more beautiful chances and scored again. The girls performed very well, we are very happy with the win. We keep going, working hard and preparing for the next match.”
