Elite League | Four wins and two draws over the weekend

Our boys’ youth teams completed an unbeaten weekend: the U16 and U15 sides both recorded convincing victories over CSS Târgoviște, while the U18 and U17 teams earned a point away to Viitorul Cluj. Our U14 and U13 sides claimed emphatic wins in Vaslui. Our six teams scored a total of 29 goals.

Women’s Superliga | Three points away to Rapid after a dramatic contest

It was neither easy nor without its share of drama, but our women’s Superliga side eventually collected all three points away to newly promoted Rapid.

Superliga | Hope lasted twenty minutes against Dinamo

The match against Dinamo began with a goal from Márton Eppel, but our hopes of earning points had already faded by the end of the first half. We now have ten days until our next league fixture, followed by a longer international break, giving us time to put things in order.

Among the players developed by the Székely Land Football Academy, Vajda Roland Ottó helped Kozármisleny claim their first victory of the season with a goal, while Corbu Marius played two more matches before being named in the preliminary squad of the Romanian senior national team.

Our boys’ youth teams enjoyed a perfect weekend: the U18 and U17 sides defeated Kids Tâmpa Brașov at home, our U16 and U15 teams returned from Galați with all three points, while our U14 and U13 sides won away to Viitorul Onești. Our six teams scored a total of 26 goals.

Superliga | Heavy defeat in Arad

There was little indication at half-time of the heavy blow awaiting us away to UTA. Our performance completely collapsed in the second half, however, and despite Márton Eppel pulling one back, we left Arad with our heaviest defeat of the season so far.

Women’s Superliga | Defeat after two penalties and a red card

Our women’s team took an early lead away to U Olimpia Cluj, but the hosts turned the game around with two penalties. Andrea Herczeg’s goal brought us level, but after going down to ten players, we conceded again late on and suffered our first defeat of the league season.

Women’s youth football | Mixed start to the league season

Our team began its Women’s Youth League campaign with a victory, as Emőke Berkeczi’s side recorded a five-goal home win over ACS Petrolul 52. Our U17 team, re-established this year, played away to Sepsi OSK and suffered a 2–0 defeat after a goalless first half.

Superliga | Looking to draw strength from our cup success in Arad

Our men’s team face another away fixture: following Wednesday’s cup victory in Bistrița, we travel to Arad on Saturday to take on direct rivals UTA.

Women’s youth football | Starting the season with a complete development pathway once again

The 2026–2027 season begins this weekend for our girls’ youth teams as well. From this season onwards, the section is overseen by Szeitl Szilvia, the former head coach of our senior women’s team, who also takes charge of the returning U17 side alongside her duties as head of the women’s youth section.

Four of our academy teams were in action on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our U16s defeated FC Bacău 3–1, while the U15s drew 2–2 against the same opponents. In Cluj, the U17s earned a point, while the U18s suffered defeat against CFR.

Romanian Cup | We opened the group stage with three points

Our men’s team collected all three points in Bistrița in the opening round of the Romanian Cup group stage. We scored late in both halves to secure a convincing victory away to our second-tier opponents.

Women’s Europa Cup | We leave Europe with our heads held high

Our women’s team played a closely contested home match against Icelandic record champions Breiðablik. Kollár Péter’s side kept the visitors scoreless throughout the first half, and after the break Breiðablik managed to find the net only once.

Women’s Europa Cup | Eager to show we have learnt from the first leg

Our women’s team are preparing for the first senior international home fixture in the club’s history: Péter Kollár’s side will welcome 20-time Icelandic champions Breiðablik to the Municipal Stadium on Wednesday evening.

We were unable to make our first senior European cup match a close contest, as our women’s team suffered a heavy defeat away to Breiðablik, Iceland’s record champions. However, Csilla Balázs scored our club’s first-ever goal in a senior European competition.
